Executive Vice President and Head, Research & Analytics
Akhilesh is responsible for running WNS’ R&A business while enabling the analytics agenda in client organizations. He was part of the formative team that set up the Research practice at GE’s Analytics Center of Excellence that later became Genpact Analytics. He led the growth of the practice by enabling global clients to solve their strategic priorities using R&A.
Akhilesh was previously the Chief Operating Officer for India of McGladrey Capital Markets, a leading mid-market M&A investment bank and was responsible for establishing its presence in India and advising companies on their M&A strategy and transactions. He was also leading the analytics team supporting the firm’s bankers globally. Prior to that, his stints include CRISIL Advisory (now Standard & Poor’s) on their financial restructuring and analytics assignments for the energy and water sector; and a boutique European consulting firm overseeing the firm’s consulting business. Akhilesh is an Engineer who also holds a Masters in Business Administration.
Director, Research & Analytics
Yogesh is an expert on analytics-enabled customer loyalty programs with 15+ years of analytics experience in Retail, Airline, Hospitality and Banking industries. He is responsible for augmenting the depth and breadth of WNS’ loyalty practice by building cutting-edge analytics capabilities through in-house development / partner ecosystem.
Prior to WNS, he set up and led the analytics practice in retail banking and hospitality as Head of Analytics at Aimia, India. Yogesh has a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York, Binghamton.
Vijay is responsible for providing business advisory, solution architecture and innovation management for supply chain and operations analytics. Prior to WNS, he worked with global industry leaders such as DXC, JDA Software, Target Corporation, TCS and Cognizant where he has led various supply chain and analytics transformation programs for manufacturing, logistics, and retail and CPG industries.
He has extensive experience in formulating and delivering strategic initiatives in supply chain analytics, supply chain transformation and advisory for ERP/SCM solutions. Vijay has a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, MESRA. Additionally, he holds specialization in Supply Chain Management from MIT.
Vivek is a data scientist with 17+ years of experience in advanced analytics, analytics consulting and deep learning. He has also worked in diverse areas such as Internet of Things (IoT), Hi-tech and Insurance. Prior to WNS, he has worked in companies such as GE Aircraft Engine, Wipro Consulting and most recently at Eaton Corporation. During his tenure in the R&D division of Eaton, he has filed for 1 patent application on IoT architecture for ground support equipment and fleet management. This is Eaton’s first patent application globally. He has also worked as an external consultant with a leading insurance company in Brazil where he developed a fraud model to reduce cost of operations and improve productivity. At GE, Vivek helped build analytics-infused New Product Introduction (NPI) process for which he received the management award.
Vivek has done his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, MESRA; PGCBM from Xavier School of Management (XLRI) and Certificate Programme in Business Analytics from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Vivek is also a registered Indian Patent Agent and a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Associate Director, Research & Analytics
Tanvi is responsible for driving innovation across Insurance and CPG domains with specific focus on use of disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine-learning, blockchain and internet of things. She has 8 years of experience in the knowledge services industry.
Prior to WNS, she worked at Blueocean Market Intelligence where she designed the product lifecycle for a suite of customer and B2B analytics products. She was responsible for building fulfillment systems for telecom clients globally at Infosys. Tanvi has completed her doctoral program in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, a globally renowned business school, and has a B. Tech degree from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar.
Sohini has 12 years of experience in providing business strategies and capability solutions to global companies in the commercial aviation industry. Her focus is the Travel and Hospitality sector. She is responsible for driving analytics-led innovation across Airlines, Hotels and OTAs.
Prior to WNS, she was the delivery lead for an aerospace manufacturing account in the R&A unit of Genpact. Sohini has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in marketing.
Group Manager, Research and Analytics
Prateek focuses on analytics innovations in various industries such as Healthcare, Insurance and Utilities. Prior to WNS, he was involved in conceptualizing, developing and commercializing analytics-powered clinical decision support systems at a healthcare startup.
He also has experience in the financial services industry and has executed trades in European interest rates and bond markets. Prateek has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, a premier business school in Asia, and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur.
Senior Group Manager, Marketing
Anish specializes in product strategy and development, strategic research, alliances, analyst and advisor relations, and product marketing. He is responsible for the overall program management of WNS DecisionPoint,TM influencer relationships, partnerships and marketing.
Prior to WNS, he worked with companies such as Honeywell, L&T and Capgemini. He has extensive experience in industrial automation, product engineering, sales operations, program management and strategic marketing. Anish has a Bachelors in Instrumentation Engineering from Mumbai University and a management degree in marketing.
Group Manager, Research & Analytics
Adya specializes in applying economic thinking to business and regulatory problems. She focuses on macroeconomic research and forecasting, specifically for Financial Services, Healthcare, Tourism and Leisure, and Retail. Prior to WNS, Adya worked on market indicators and forecasts for 60 countries with the Economist Intelligence Unit, the research and analysis division of The Economist Group.
She has also worked in a private sector think tank and a global consulting firm in India. Adya has an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelors in Economics from Delhi University.
Soumiran specializes in customer analytics application areas such as loyalty programs, assortment optimization and omni-channel customer experience management for Retail, CPG and Hospitality.
Prior to WNS, he worked on industry reports and bespoke research for clients in Retail, Travel and Hospitality industries at Deloitte Insights, the research and markets’ entity of Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu Limited. Soumiran has an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi and a Bachelors in Science.
